Election Results

There were nine nominations for ten places.

The new Community Council comprises Deirdre Beaton, David Beattie, Margaret Cairns, Andrew Douglas, James Dow, Graham Fleming, Terry Myers, Brian Raine and Colin Styles.

Brian Raine was re-elected as Chairman, Colin Styles as Treasurer and Margaret Cairns as Secretary.

Richard Salvin, past Chairman and planning adviser, retired from the Community Council but was not allowed to get away. He has been co-opted to remain on the Murray Royal Action Group and to deal with the Shore Road Waste to Energy Plant.
