Murray Royal Hospital Works About To Start
Enabling Works on the Murray Royal Hospital site are due to start in July beginning with demolition and the provision of services. Construction work is scheduled to take two years with a further year for practical completion such as landscaping.
The build hours are to be 8am to 6 pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4.30 Friday, Saturday and Sunday which will make life pretty intolerable for those within hearing range (including the patients).
As well as noise we are very concerned about dust, asbestos, debris, movement of plant and machinery and removal of material.
We have tried to stress the importance of communication so are pleased that Project Manager Sushee Dunn, has agreed to come to our meeting on Thursday 18th June to give a presentation and answer questions. The meeting will be at 7.30p.m. in Gannochy Community Hall, off Hadden Road.
We hope that all concerned residents will take this opportunity to find out more and express their views.
