Needle Exchange Premises

Bridgend no longer has the only premises in Perth where addicts can exchange their needles. We have made representations on behalf of residents in Bridgend who have been bothered by addicts shooting up in nearby closes and leaving used needles lying around. We are pleased that something has been done to help our area and are grateful to Councillor Heather Stewart for taking up this issue.

NHS Tayside refused to say where the new premises are. If there is no problem with having this facility why not release this information? If there is a problem why were we not told or consulted before the exchange was introduced in Bridgend?
